Dear Resident,

We are reaching out to ask for your support in addressing a recent concern within our community. There have been reports of anti-social behaviour involving young people targeting the homes of elderly residents in Buckland. This behaviour is distressing and unacceptable, and we want to ensure that everyone feels safe and respected in their own home.

Here’s how you can help:

•            Be vigilant and keep an eye out for any suspicious or concerning activity.

•            Report incidents promptly by calling 101 or using the online reporting service.

•            Offer reassurance to any vulnerable neighbours and let them know support is available.

•            Call 999 if you see an incident on going. 

•            Speak to your children as they may not be doing the physical act, but if they are complicit or encouraging it then they are part of the problem. Make sure they know where the no go areas are for the elderly estates and explain to them why they should not be going there. 

By working together, we can maintain Buckland as a safe and welcoming community for all. Your cooperation is vital in helping us protect our elderly residents and prevent further incidents.
